July, 2000
These two adorable babies are Buddy and Lollipop. They came
in together from a household that had three, but started selling them off. They had already sold the sister when Cathy
heard about them, and she wanted to get them out of there together. They were being fed potato chips! They
smelled like cigarette smoke and were really sluggish for about a week, and fat because they hadn't been out of their cage.
Fortunately, they were relatively young and have recovered well.

Buddy
UPDATE: OCTOBER 6, 2004
Buddy has been struggling off & on with IBD for several months now.It was bad on Sunday, when our guests were here.He
had lost so much weight. He was getting special feedings (and he`s the one I demonstrated sub Q fluids on, for those
who wanted to learn.)
When I did 3 a.m. feedings, he was hurting. I put him on pain meds. This afternoon, he left us, some time between 1:30
and 3:00.
Buddy & Lollipop have been in our room for years. Funlovers has never lost a member before. We will miss our Buddy.

Lollipop
Update: March 20th, 2005
Old, deaf Lollipop has been adrenal for about a year now. He just had his third, 6 mo. lupron depot. (It
is really a 4 mo, but lasts much longer, on most of them!)
Lollipop is a peacemaker--a good old boy. Here`s a more recent picture of him.
