Sugar & Timothy came from a man in Woodstock who could no longer care for them. He asked his neighbor to find a home
for these two, while he was away. (We don`t know if he was job-hunting, vacationing, or what...) If the neighbor couldn`t
find a home for Sugar & Timothy, he was instructed to "Just put them in a cardboard box & leave them outside a pet
shop" (I bet the pet shops just love this!!) The neighbor realized the ferrets would cook in the sun, or possibly even
escape if the did this, so he began to search with all his might for a solution.
He contacted Mary Van Dahm, who recommended that he call us.
I met him half way. He knew the girl`s name was Sugar--but he didn`t know the boy`s name. He was going to phone me with
it, but we hadn`t heard from him in five days. Because the boy could not go on nameless, we named him after Tim (the man who
met me half way, with them!)
Sugar is an albino girl, who looks to be about four or five. Timothy is a champagne boy who is probably four or five
also. He is beginning to show signs of adrenal disease. Both were eating cheap cat food with only 9% fat...We expect
them to look better, in the next few months.
I apologize for not posting a picture yet. We have used up all our space on this free website, and cannot. We are looking
into other options. We don`t want our visitors having to endure pop-ups anymore.
I will post pictures as soon as possible!

UPDATE NOVEMBER 27th, 2006:
We lost Sugar today. She has been slowing down for a few days--and we knew it was coming. Her appetite had decreased,
in the last few days--and even supportive care didn`t cause her to rally. She died comfortably, in her sleepy sack, this morning.
Cancer wins again. We think she was about six or seven years old. What a sweet little girl she was. Never a moment`s trouble.
We will really miss her...
