Zoo's Ferret Sanctuary
Mitts

In 2002, a few months after our first grandson was born, our daughter Julie surrendered her last two ferrets to the sanctuary. She & her husband didn`t have the time for them anymore. (DOES THIS STORY SOUND FAMILIAR????) She knew the ferrets would get the love & attention they deserved, here at the sanctuary. (We had babysat all of the ferrets, from time to time,  so they were right at home here) Sadie is gone now (The heart meds quit working.) Mitts is still with us.

Mitts is a little dark-eyed white girl. She is adrenal, deaf, and very fragile now. The lupron has her adrenal symptoms under control, but she has an inoperable tumor in her tummy too. She is somewhere between five & six years old---and not well---but we will love her, until the end...

Julie & her family moved to Las Vegas in November of 2005.
